Every once in a while you pray for an opportunity. You speak all this hype about what you would do if… Well believe it or not I spoke that same hype about loving someone. I am not quite sure I have lived up to my own hype yet but here goes…
I Would…
I prayed at night for your embrace,
Hours I spent imagining one second with you.
I dreamed elaborate collages only wishing they would come true
I flew through a whirlwind of emotions,
Trying to have one sip of your love potion
Many a day I drift into other worlds,
Where I was your man,
And you were my girl
I would only cherish the moment if I was given that chance,
I would take my love,
And put it all in you hands
I’d give all my tomorrows,
To have one day of you in my life
To love you forever,
And make you my wife

If I could turn back the hands of time
I would mold us a new destiny
We would be like lumps of clay;
And I would metamorphisize our broken pieces
Make us whole again….
